Bio:
John F. Andrews is the President and CEO of Evans Data Corporation. Andrews has spent over 25 years in market research and IT-related businesses, and was the CEO of both public and private companies. Previously, as CIO and President of CSX Corporation, he was nominated "CIO of the Year" by InformationWeek and was the recipient of InternetWeek's Visionary Award. Prior to CSX, Andrews held positions at GTE as VP and GM of its Health, Government and Telecommunications Systems business units. He was the CEO of Giga Information Group (GIGA) up to and during its acquisition by Forrester Research (FORR) in 2002. Andrews received his MBA from the University of Puget Sound and a BA in finance from Whitworth College. Prior to CSX, Andrews held a number of executive positions at the telecommunications giant GTE where he was vice president and general manager of its Health Systems, Government Systems and Telecommunications Systems business units. Additionally, he held senior management positions in information technology, finance, marketing and field operations.

But while there is no argument that these exciting new means for collaborating and communicating are changing the social habits of consumers, will they transform business as well? Cisco-WebEx's Gary Griffiths will trace the economic and technology trends behind the Web 2.0 phenomenon, from Software-as-a-Service to Mashups to Composite Applications. As IT execs struggle to harness these trends for there own companies, this presentation will disclose the blueprint that Cisco is building the blueprint for overcoming the obstacles and bringing Web 2.0 and SaaS into business.
Bio:
As president of products and operations, Gary Griffiths is responsible for all WebEx products, including strategy, research and development, product management, network and MediaTone operations, and customer technical support.
A twenty-five year veteran of the high-tech industry, Griffiths was the CEO of on-demand application company, Everdream (recently acquired by Dell), for the past six years and held senior management positions with IBM for more than 16 years. He was also the CEO and co-founder of SegaSoft Networks, one of the pioneers in interactive entertainment. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Gary served as an officer aboard nuclear fast-attack submarines for five years, and was an associate professor of systems engineering at the US Naval Academy.
He has a BS is Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MS in business administration from the George Washington University.

Google Opening Up to Developers: From 3 to 40 APIs in 2 years
In the past 2 years Google has gone from offering 3 SOAP APIs to its core services, Ads and Search, to more than 40 APIs using various technologies (REST, Ajax, Java) and covering a wide array of developer needs, with two main themes: giving developers programmatic access to Google services, and making the web better through standards and open source offerings (GWT, Gears). In 2007 Google started cooperating with other industry players to create new standard platforms in areas where they were needed: OpenSocial for social applications and Android for Mobile. During these 2 years Google has grown a team dedicated to developer relations.
Bio:
Patrick Chanezon has been an API Evangelist at Google since 2005. These, days his main interests are the OpenSocial API and social software, Google APIs, REST and Ajax, Ruby, Javascript, Java, PHP, and Python. Previously he had been working on portals, blogs and syndication feeds at Sun Microsystems, AOL and Netscape. He's the co-founder of the ROME - Atom and RSS utilities in java open source project. Patrick is French, so he takes long vacations in the summer and likes to drink red wine with baguette and stinky cheese while wearing a beret. This presentation will look at the lessons from Salesforce.com's platform and developer program initiatives, and how companies following a similar path can expect to adapt their developer relations strategies.

Adam Gross is Vice President of Developer Marketing at Salesforce.com. At the company, Adam focuses on Salesforce.com's Apex platform and AppExchange directory for on-demand applications, and bringing the integration and development technologies within Apex to companies, ISVs and developers around the world. This work includes launching the company's first Web services API, which is grown to become one of the most popular business Web services available, accounting for over 40% of all of Salesforce.com's traffic. Prior to Salesforce.com, Adam was an early innovator in the Web services market, serving as Vice President of Product Marketing at Grand Central Communications. Prior to joining Grand Central, Adam co-founded Personify, a San Francisco-based software company that provided personalization and analytics systems for some of the largest sites on the Web, and served as a technology analyst in
Stanford Research Institute's Media Futures Program. Adam holds a B.S. in New Media Systems and Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.

Mark Yolton brings more than 20 years of experience to his current role of Senior Vice President for SAP's Community Network. In this role, Mr. Yolton leads the SAP Developer Network (SDN) and Business Process Expert (BPX) communities, which he is charged with strengthening in order to deepen and accelerate adoption of the SAP platform, products, and services for the benefit of SAP and its ecosystem of customers and partners. More than one million community members from more than 200 countries and territories engage very actively online and at community events worldwide.
Prior to joining SAP, Mr. Yolton worked at PeopleSoft managing PeopleSoft.com and the core aspects of its customer and partner portals. Following PeopleSoft's merger with Oracle, he served as Senior Director of Oracle's Web-based marketing activities, where he was responsible for managing Oracle.com, the Oracle Partner Network (OPN), the Oracle Technology Network (OTN), and the employee portal MyOracle (MyO). Previously, Mr Yolton served as Vice President of Marketing and Strategy at Sun Microsystems, and at various roles with Unisys Corporation and The Prudential.

Jean Elliott is the Senior Director of Java Software Product Marketing at Sun Microsystems, Inc. She has held a variety of leadership roles in product marketing, business planning and strategic analysis during more than ten years with Sun's Java team. Today, she manages product marketing for five generations of the core Java Platform and its open source development practices, Java Card and the emerging Real-Time and Embedded Java businesses. Prior to Sun, Jean managed the Quality Assurance Group for Gensym Corporation, a leading provider of rule engine software and services for automating mission-critical decisions in real time. Jean holds an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management and a BA in Philosophy and French from Trinity College.

Tom Libretto is a seasoned, customer-facing executive, with extensive experience in the telecommunications and information technology industries, and a proven track record for growing new businesses. As VP, Forum Nokia, Tom is responsible for managing and growing Nokia's global 3rd party mobile developer community. Forum Nokia is the industry's largest mobile developer program, supporting over 3.5 million members that build and deliver value-added applications atop Nokia devices. Tom joined Nokia in April of 2005 to run Strategy, Business Development, and Marketing for the new Mobile Solutions unit within Nokia Enterprise Solutions, focused on the creation and execution of Nokia and alliance-based mobility solutions for enterprise customers, including management of new and existing relationships with strategic partners and the broader enterprise developer community. Prior to joining Nokia, Tom held various marketing and product management positions within IBM Software Group, and Lotus Development Corporation, acquired by IBM in 1995. Most recently at IBM, Tom ran IBM's PartnerWorld for Software program, responsible for partner recruitment, channel marketing programs and joint Go-To-Market activities for the then $13 billion software arm supported by more than 20,000 partner organizations. He brings worldwide enterprise software experience, ranging from small "dot-com" through Fortune 500 companies. Donald speaks regularly about open source, community development, business models, business integration and software development politics at conferences and events worldwide including Java One, Oracle World, Sun Tech Days, Evans Developer Relations Conference, OOPSLA, JAOO, Server Side Symposium, Colorado Software Summit and others. Prior to joining Eclipse, Donald was Director of Technology Evangelism at Oracle.
