• Other areas: Testing (41.1%), requirements gathering (35.6%), and data extraction (33.8%).

Regional Trends:

• North America leads in GenAI use for planning (60.6%) and testing (52.4%).
• EMEA developers prioritize coding (54.0%), planning (47.9%), and testing (44.2%).
• APAC developers align closely with North America in planning and coding adoption.
• Latin America places more emphasis on data analysis (51.1%).

Cloud Native Development: Windows Dominates, but Linux Persists

• Windows Server is the primary OS for cloud-native development (40.6%).
• Other Windows versions bring total Windows adoption to over 75%.
• Linux adoption remains at 13.8%.

• APAC developers favor Windows Server (50.8%).
• North America and Latin America prefer non-server Windows versions.
• EMEA has the highest Linux adoption (18.6%).
