Report Finds Ill-Targeted Messaging as Biggest “Pet Peeve” in Developer Marketing
Santa Cruz, CALIF. (March 31, 2020) – Marketing professionals are missing the mark with developers. Notably, developers are growing frustrated with ill-targeted messaging. To better understand the uniqueness of the developer marketing landscape, Evans Data Corporation released the Developer Marketing 2020 report; a tactical look at developers’ attitudes and preferences toward marketing.

The data-driven report shows that marketers are not providing enough technical information and broadly target developers who prefer a narrowly focused, development-tasks-specific message.
